Letter styles
There are many fonts available for use from the traditional to the more contemporary. Traditionally letters would have been carved by hand but now they are mostly either cut by computer or sand blasted with a rubber stencil. Although we do still offer hand carved lettering.
Once the lettering has been incised there are a number of different finishes available including natural, enamelling, gilding or raised lead.
In a few situations, some methods will not be compatible with the stone type but you will be fully informed of this when selecting your options at the time of ordering.
